The Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is committed to ensuring that all Oklahomans are fully informed about their government and the state’s juvenile affairs. In order to maintain transparency and accountability, OJA has established procedures for accessing public records in its possession. OJA reserves the right to charge a search fee if the information requested requires an excessive disruption of the essential functions of agency staff.
Pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Records Act (Title 51, Sections 24A.1 through 24A.24) and the OJA Rules (377:10-1-11) the following fees shall apply to copies of non-confidential records requested by the public.
- $0.25 per page for records having the dimensions of 8 1/2 by 14 inches or smaller.
- $1.00 per copied page for a certified copy.
- Copies of other media shall be actual cost of reproduction including labor.
- $25 per hour search fee for commercial requests or those that cause an excessive disruption of office functions.
- $35 per hour labor fee when computer programming or computer processing time is required.
Any payments must be paid by check, money order, or cashier’s check. The Department cannot accept cash or credit/debit cards.
If the requestor selects to inspect documents under the Open Records Act; the documents must be kept in the order in which they were provided.

As soon as the Agency receives payment for the records, the records will be made available for pickup at the above address. Depending on the number of records responsive to your request, the OJA staff may be able to e-mail records. Certified copies cannot be e-mailed or faxed. If you would like the copies mailed, you will need to provide a FedEx or UPS shipping number. If you do not have a FedEx or UPS number, please contact OJA Communications and arrangements for mailing the records can be made.
